Wine Cellar

The farm 's Wine Cellar treats grapes coming exclusively from the La Pieve farm itself. As with the best Tuscan tradition, the production and processing of grapes have always been part of the Petri family's culture: since 1954, they have dedicated themselves to the care of vineyards and land in order to obtain a product of good quality. The vineyards are located at 450 m above sea level and, thanks to a mild climate affected by sea streams coming from the plain below, particular atmospheric

conditions give grapes a high quality. As in the past, the owners have remained faithful to the Maremma tradition, introducing remarkable improvements thanks to the use of new machinery for wine production and conveyance, in order to offer a healthy and genuine product. As with the Oil Mill, the Wine Cellar is today part of the new farm and produces red and white wines from native vines. Inside the facility there a wine shop and a wine-tasting room, where customers can taste wines in a relaxed atmosphere and rediscover the flavours of an ancient land rich in emotions.
